all birds in the jungle started gearing up for the upcoming season...it is spring time and they were told by the parents that it is one of the happiest time of the year for all creatures especially us the birds.
Winter roosting over and the young ones have been trained to be on their own.green leaves sprouting on almost all trees .and along with that worms are also aplenty. even insects had their nesting time you know? And so the young ones started to explore the world of spring time.
they flew from tree to tree had a bounty of worms small nuts and some little cranes even had small fish to fit their mouth. even fish had their eggs hatched you know!
life was so full of other lives eating and eaten and flourishing .of course no one missed the disappearing specimens as all had taken care to have more supply to meet the natural demand.
after some time some adventurous birds thought "it is time we go exploring the world out side .
they left their haven and started flying south wards .because thats what has been registered in their genes.
"april showers may flowers " ....they sang and crossed the ojungle and a small sea. when they landed in a city far away it was very much raining time and hence the birds needed some shelter. of course such a big city should have some real big trees to welcome the guests they thought . "of course there it is" said one and flew fast, only to be hit by the glass panes reflecting the far away trees. ouch .. and it fell down fataly hit. other birds shuddered by the sight rushed to the near by greenary. while the place well taken care of with pruned shrubs mowed lawns a colourful line of daisies well mixed with green non flowering crotons, the place couldn't give the birds the solace they were looking for.
no big trees no fruits hanging down from them not much varieties of birds to chatter with except some species resigned to the well madeup environment
they sweated out with heat of the sunrays thrown back from the glass windows neighbouring the park.
all of a sudden a voice shouted " hey I see some unknown species of birds in the park"
and before any one could say 'click' the flash lights hit the eyes like lightning . soon some experts from the ornithology department of XYZ university were there to assert the species. and in no time the flyers were in the lime light literally and caged .
the junglees (thats what they were called as none could get to know their names you see) had to be well taken care of said a proffessor. and tomorrow we are off to London said another. yeah... they cried in ecstacy..next day ....and the birds needn't have to use their wings at all yet they flew to paris and london and New delhi only to be viewed with awe by the audience of "the world wild life fund" conference!
Happy spring time
